About Us
The Townsville Photography Club was incorporated in mid 2008 after meeting as the Twin Cities Amateur Photography Group for two years.
Being a member and participating in our Club helps members to improve their photography skills and create outstanding images. This is achieved by conducting competitions, workshops, tutorials, field trips or guest speakers on a monthly basis.
Members can email two digital images for a set theme, plus two images for the open theme. The Club has a print competition also; on set themes and open themes. Prints up to A4 size can be entered. Members may enter inter-club competitions that are advertised during the year.
The Club has a newsletter, Snapshot where all the latest news can be viewed. Once a member you can join the Club's Facebook and Flickr pages which are for members only.
The Club goes on local walkabouts and field trips which adds to the social aspect of the Club.
Meetings are held twice a month at the Oonoonba Community centre.....6.45 - 9.00pm.
